Blocking My Blessings
I ask for a miracle, then refresh my feed.
I've been reading about ancestral practices all Hoodoo Heritage Month, and it's making me strangely uncomfortable. Everyone has a ritual or practice to ask for and amplify money, and each one makes me increasingly uneasy. Clearly I have some hang ups.
I keep trying to pay for my blessings up front. I post an article, eat the right herbs and sing from my heart, then log into TikTok to check views and follows. I don't think the spirits give a fuck about followers and internet traffic. I'm probably getting on their nerves.
